The wanted H class was built by the infamous Ron Jones, Sr.
and was owned & driven by George Babcock.
This combination won the USA National Championship in 1969
and set a World Straight Away Record recording
an astoundishing speed of 166 MPH.
** via Facebook: This particular Record 7 (the 1st) was destroyed in a kilo run with Tommy Tucker Fults driving on Lake Sammamish, 1970.
It was replaced with a new hull in 1971. No idea what happened to the 2nd.**
