R'cd info 2010 Mar 28:
RANDY MYERS/ BUD WIGETS AVENGER
BUD HAD BOUGHT THE BOAT FROM MYERS IN THE 1960s AND RAN IT UNTIL HE BOUGHT A NEW LAUTERBACH IN THE EARLY 1970s.
RAY MILLER FOUND OUT ABOUT THE BOAT BEING RETIRED AND BOUGHT IT FROM BUD.
RAY RAN IT FOR SOME TIME UNTIL IT JUST CAME APART AND HE HAD TO PARK IT.
HE BOUGHT ANOTHER BOAT FROM BUD THAT ED HARVEY HAD BUILT AND NEVER FINISHED.
HE TOOK IT TO “BUNKY “ BOWERMANS’ SHOP AND THEY STRIPPED THE AVENGER AND PUT THE HARDWARE IN THE NEW HULL.
THE AVENGER REMAINED AT BUNKY’S UNTIL THE OUTBOARDERS DECIDED TO USE IT TO ROAST HOTDOGS AND THEN IT PASSED INTO HISTORY FEEDING A BUNCH OF OUTBOARDERS! LOL
