This wanted was 16' long and running a Chevy 265 engine.
Wanted was owned and campaigned by the infamous Earl Wham.
This hydro "Lil Merion Bluegrass" (aka "Holy Smoke") was a very 
formidable runner. It was owned and driven by Earl Wham in the mid 60's.

Won 60 of the last 68 heats run, finished in all but 3 in the last 2 years, including 4 combined races including 7 litres, Second in National High Point 1962, First in Region 10, Engine Chev. 395 H.P. Dry sump oil fuel injection roller cam, forged custom pistons. Will turn 10,000 rpm with no engine damage. Most powerful, unsupercharged engine ever tested in southern California.
